About Stephen Cromwell, Firm Partner
Stephen Cromwell is a seasoned Attorney and Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience advising individuals and businesses on strategic tax planning and financial optimization. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD), an MBA in Finance, and an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in Taxation. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Stephen has earned the prestigious NTPI Tax Fellow® and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) designations, and is an active member of several professional organizations including the AICPA, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), and the National Association of Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He is also a Registered Investment Advisor.
Stephen specializes in tax preparation, IRS representation, audits, business valuation, and investment advisory services. He has also taught accounting courses at universities and community colleges across the DC Metro area.
Originally from Baltimore, Stephen enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, and biking. In the fall, you’ll often find him cheering on the Maryland Terrapins at College Park on game days.
About James George
Jim George has been a Frederick area CPA since 1984. After gaining valuable experience as an auditor and a tax specialist with two different firms, he started his own practice in December of 1991 in Lovettsville, Virginia. Today, Jim functions as a general practitioner advising over 400 clients on a wide variety of business and individual matters.
About Richie
Richie is our new entity specialist. She oversees our bookkeeping and payroll work. Richie lives in New Market with her cat Stella and a pit bull Zues. Richie graduated from the University of Maryland and is a CPA. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and eating crabs.
